ValueVue is a price tracking and value monitoring application developed by an independent developer (VanMoofer). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.
We are committed to your privacy — ValueVue is designed with privacy at its core. All your data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or share any personal information.
2. Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data. ValueVue operates entirely on your device without requiring:
- Account creation or sign-up
- Cloud storage or sync services
- Analytics or tracking services
- Advertising networks
3. Data Storage
All data created by ValueVue is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. This includes:
- URLs: Websites you choose to track
- Item names: Names and configurations you set
- Historical records: Value records over time
- Preferences: Your settings and preferences
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.
4. Network Activity
ValueVue connects to the internet solely to:
- Fetch webpage content: From URLs you provide for value extraction
- Refresh tracked values: At intervals you configure
We do not operate any servers that receive or store your data. The App communicates directly with the websites you choose to track.
5. Notifications
If you enable notifications, ValueVue uses Apple's local notification system to alert you about price changes and target achievements. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no external push notification service is used.
6. No Analytics, No Tracking, No Ads
ValueVue does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external connections are to websites you explicitly ask the App to monitor. We do not collect usage statistics, behavioral data, or device fingerprints.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties. Since we don't collect any data, there is nothing to share.
No data is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
8. Data Retention
- All data is stored locally on your device
- Uninstall: Removing the app deletes all locally stored data
- No server-side data: ValueVue does not operate its own servers and does not retain any user data remotely
9. Your Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access: Request information about what data is stored
- Deletion: Delete all data by uninstalling the app
- Portability: All data is stored on your device and accessible to you
- Objection: You can disable specific features (notifications, background refresh) in device settings
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control. Uninstalling the app removes everything.
10. Children's Privacy
ValueVue does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of ValueVue after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
