Delete your
Moofment account.

You're in control of your data. This page explains exactly how to delete your Moofment account and all associated data — in-app, or by contacting us directly.

Delete from the app (recommended)

The fastest way. Takes about 30 seconds.

  1. Open the Moofment app on your iPhone
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation
  3. Tap Account Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Request deletion by email

Prefer to email us? Send a short message from the email address associated with your Moofment account.

  2. Subject: "Delete my Moofment account"
  3. Include the email you signed up with
  4. We'll confirm within 7 days and delete within 30 days

What gets deleted

When you delete your Moofment account, the following data is permanently removed:

What may be retained

For legal and security reasons, we may retain a small amount of non-personal metadata for a limited time:

None of this retained data contains personal information that can identify you.

Your VanMoof account is not affected

Deleting your Moofment account does not delete or modify your official VanMoof account with VanMoof B.V. or McLaren Applied. Your bike will continue to work with the official VanMoof app exactly as before.

Timeline

In-app deletion is immediate. Your data is removed from your device and queued for deletion from Apple CloudKit. Cloud deletion typically completes within 24–48 hours, and at most within 30 days.

Email deletion requests are processed within 7 days, with final deletion completed within 30 days of the request.

This action is permanent. Once your Moofment account is deleted, none of the data above can be recovered. If you want to use Moofment again later, you'll need to sign up from scratch.
