Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WireSketch ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

WireSketch is an electrical layout planning tool that allows users to place electrical fixtures on wall photographs, view safety zones based on regional electrical codes, estimate materials, and export plans. The App is intended as a planning and visualization aid only.

WireSketch is a planning and visualization tool only. It does not provide professional electrical engineering advice.

The output of this application — including but not limited to fixture placement, wiring routes, safety zone calculations, cable recommendations, material estimates, measurement calculations, and electrical code references — is intended for reference and communication purposes only and shall not be relied upon as a substitute for the services of a licensed electrician, electrical engineer, or building inspector.

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ACP and WireSketch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, fire, electrical shock, or death — arising out of or in connection with the use of plans, layouts, measurements, or recommendations generated by this application.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the foregoing, the developer makes no warranty that:

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ACP, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) any electrical work performed based on plans created with WireSketch; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any applicable electrical code, building regulation, or law.

Assumption of Risk

Electrical work involves inherent risks including fire, electrical shock, property damage, and death. By using WireSketch, you acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for any consequences of electrical work performed based on plans created with the App, regardless of whether those plans were accurate or complete.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, icons, and content, is owned by the developer and protected by copyright laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

User Content

Photos and project data you create within the App remain your property. The App does not claim any rights over your content. All user content is stored locally on your device.

In-App Purchases

WireSketch offers optional in-app purchases (Multi-Wall, Pro Measurements, Pro Bundle). Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. All purchases are non-transferable.

These references are approximations and may not reflect the most current versions of these standards. Electrical codes vary by country, region, and municipality and are subject to change. Always consult the official, current versions of applicable codes and your local building authority.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
