These Contractor Listing Terms ("Listing Terms") govern your participation as a contractor in the RenovMate contractor directory. By submitting a registration request, you agree to these terms in addition to the general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Nature of the Directory
RenovMate is a directory service only. We provide a platform for contractors to be discovered by homeowners. We do not:
- Act as a contractor or employment agency
- Facilitate payments between contractors and homeowners
- Guarantee work quality or outcomes
- Mediate disputes between contractors and homeowners
- Provide contractor insurance or bonding
3. Eligibility Requirements
To be listed in the RenovMate contractor directory, you must:
- Be a legally operating business or self-employed professional
- Hold all necessary licenses and permits required in your jurisdiction
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for your trade
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your registration
4. Registration & Approval
4.1 Submission
Registration is submitted through the RenovMate app. Required information includes:
- Business name and contact person
- Email address and phone number
- Trade categories / work types offered
- Service regions / operating areas
Optional information includes business address, website, years of experience, certifications, and languages spoken.
4.2 Review Process
All submissions are manually reviewed before listing. We may:
- Approve your listing as submitted
- Request additional information or clarification
- Reject your listing at our sole discretion
We are not obligated to provide reasons for rejection.
4.3 No Guarantee of Listing
Submission of a registration does not guarantee inclusion in the directory. Listing decisions are made at our sole discretion.
5. Your Responsibilities
As a listed contractor, you agree to:

- Provide accurate, complete, and current information
- Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or certifications
- Update your information if it changes by contacting us
- Not impersonate another business or individual
5.2 Legal Compliance
- Maintain all required licenses and permits
- Carry appropriate business insurance
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Meet tax obligations in your jurisdiction
5.3 Professional Conduct
- Respond to customer inquiries professionally
- Provide accurate quotes and estimates
- Complete agreed work to professional standards
- Honor warranties and guarantees you provide
6. No Verification or Endorsement
Important: RenovMate does NOT verify, certify, or endorse any contractor. We do not:
- Verify licenses, insurance, or certifications
- Conduct background checks
- Inspect completed work
- Guarantee contractor qualifications
- Recommend specific contractors
Listing in our directory does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation.
7. Pricing
Directory listing requires the purchase of the RenovMate app (€5.99 one-time). This is the only cost — there are no commissions, referral fees, or monthly charges.
Your listing remains active permanently after registration. We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future, with reasonable notice, but your basic listing will not be affected.
8. Data & Privacy
8.1 Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide during registration. This includes business name, contact details, service areas, and professional information.
8.2 How We Use Your Information
- Display your listing in the contractor directory
- Allow homeowners to find and contact you
- Communicate with you about your listing
- Improve our services
8.3 Public Information
By registering, you consent to the following being publicly visible to RenovMate users:
- Business name and contact person
- Phone number, email, and website
- Service areas and trade categories
- Years of experience and certifications
- Business description
8.4 GDPR Rights

9. Removal & Suspension
9.1 Removal by You
You may request removal of your listing at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will process removal requests within 5 business days.
9.2 Removal by Us
We may remove or suspend your listing at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Listing Terms
- Inaccurate or misleading information
- Customer complaints regarding your services
- Illegal or unethical business practices
- Loss of required licenses or insurance
- Failure to respond to inquiries or maintain active status
- Any reason at our sole discretion
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- RenovMate is not liable for any disputes between contractors and homeowners
- RenovMate is not liable for lost business, revenue, or opportunities
- RenovMate is not liable for the actions of homeowners or other users
- RenovMate makes no guarantees regarding the number of inquiries you will receive
- Total liability shall not exceed €100 or the amount paid for any premium listing features
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RenovMate, its developer, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your listing or use of the directory
- Work you perform for homeowners
- Inaccurate information in your listing
- Violation of these terms
- Violation of any third-party rights
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Listing Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued listing in the directory after changes constitutes acceptance.
