Reminder: It is important to note that operating an e-Bike at speeds exceeding 25km/h on public streets in Europe is illegal and can result in fines or other legal consequences. This speed limit is in place to ensure the safety of both the rider and those sharing the road. In addition to the legal ramifications, riding an e-Bike at high speeds can also increase the risk of accidents and injuries. It is important to always follow traffic laws and safety guidelines while riding an e-Bike. Therefore, we strongly advise against attempting to use the US mode or any other modifications that may enable your VanMoof to exceed this speed limit on public roads. It is important to ride responsibly and within the limits set by the law.

VanMoof V

VanMoof V: the high-speed e-bike.

Introducing VanMoof's newest innovation in e-bikes, the high-speed V. Designed for the cities and riders of the future, V is set to revolutionize the way we travel on roads.

The VanMoof V is often referred to as the "Cybertruck equivalent" of VanMoof due to its unique and futuristic design. V is an electric bike that has a bold and angular frame made from lightweight aluminum, and it features an array of high-tech features like automatic electronic gear shifting and integrated lighting like S5 & A5. Overall, it is a stunning and innovative piece of engineering that's sure to turn heads wherever it goes!

On Oct 12, 2021, VanMoof showcased this game-changing e-bike that will make commuting faster, safer, and more efficient.

The V is fully compliant with EU regulations and comes equipped with a 700 Wh internal battery, new integrated display and light designs, dual motor configuration (max 1 kW power), 50 km/h top speed (as per local regulations), 165-205 cm rider height, full suspension, and thick tires for a smooth and comfortable ride. Additionally, the V features a Turbo Boost, Kick Lock, and Theft Defense for added safety and security.

After the global supply chain crisis, the V was initially expected to be available only in select countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Japan by the end of 2023. Unfortunately, VanMoof 1.0 went bankrupt in the summer of 2023. The new VanMoof 2.0 is currently in the process of organizing its operations before commencing sales. The company has downsized almost seven times. Therefore, the plans for the V are currently uncertain.
